Silvered Mirror

Sometimes you catch a glimpse of yourself, off-guard, unposed, your private face, no smiles, either true or false. Increasingly like your mother's, some say.

Somewhere, though, is the other face, also private. The face he once held, tenderly, with gentle hands, and kissed as you both looked into the mirror.
