The Hunt

Poised and still on a rock in the noon sun, the iguana has the look of a polished bronze. The small boy too could be the work of a master carver. I have seen his face in stone in the Great Ballcourt. For a moment he too is still, until . . . the slingshot snaps! . . . The guide tells me, "SeƱora, that's his dinner."
