In the twilight of dawn

In the twilight of dawn
A whitefish, with an inch
Of whiteness

basho

the crane casts
a shadow on the catamaran

gokul

tiny patterns
as turtles leave
their trails behind

shivanchali

the canvas shows moonlight
through the clouds

disha

my heart leaps
at the touch of his hand
under the tipping roof

kanika

she sits on the stone
flipping the pages of her diary

arvind

peeping through the grass
yellow daffodils
bend with the wind

lavanya

I move in the directions
of God’s own poetry

kanchan

the moon brighter
with twinkles circling it . . .
the baby sleeps

kemy

our city wakes up
to the rustle of the leaves

kanika

the tiger cubs
rolling over each other
in rising dust

pulkita

laughter echoes
through the mountain path

mandalas
